New learning materials developed under the Construye 2030plus project are now available to support green skills training
The new materials, focused on thermal insulation, window installation and heat pumps, include practical guides, training videos and interactive questionnaires. They are designed to support the learning of professionals, learners and trainers, facilitating the acquisition of key skills. In addition, complementary resources have been developed on packaging and packaging waste regulations and criteria for selecting innovative construction systems, contributing to improved energy efficiency and sustainability in the sector.

The Construction Blueprint 2 consortium advances the development of a sectoral skills strategy

Partners met in Brussels to review progress and coordinate upcoming actions related to skills development in the sector. During the meeting, key initiatives were addressed, such as the Pact for Skills, the European Construction Observatory and the design of European training programmes.

Gamification for dry construction through the European Ediltrophy project

The consortium met in Madrid to define the next steps in promoting training in dry construction systems through gamification and practical learning. They also progressed in developing innovative training resources and in the European competition that will conclude the project.

New app to support the integration of refugees into the construction sector

Through the Welcome Work project, a resource has been developed that offers practical tools, accessible guidance and an AI-powered virtual assistant to support refugees’ first steps in the construction sector. Its adapted content helps overcome barriers such as language.

The Repower Regions partners make progress towards decarbonising heating and cooling systems
The consortium has published a report analysing progress in the decarbonisation of climate control in nine European countries, identifying key trends, challenges and opportunities. The study highlights the role of electrification, digitalisation and efficient thermal systems, among others.

The Construye 2030plus consortium meets to drive training and sustainable construction
During the fourth partners’ meeting held in Madrid, the development of self-assessment tools was discussed, through an app that provides guidance on training in sustainable construction, as well as the planning of the Construye 2030plus Route, a nationwide initiative that will deliver training to professionals across 10 cities in Spain.

Fundación Laboral de la Construcción drives equality in the sector at the IC2 Congress
The meeting highlighted the role of international partnerships in promoting gender equality in construction, presenting initiatives such as Women Can Build, which promotes women's access to and retention in the industry through training, cooperation and the exchange of knowledge.
