The European Ediltrophy project enters its decisive phase to transform dry construction training
On 9 and 10 June, Fundación Laboral de la Construcción hosted the third transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ European Ediltrophy project, a key milestone to assess progress achieved and define the next steps that will shape the final stages of the initiative
The partner organisations of the European Ediltrophy project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and coordinated by Formedil (Italy), met on 9 and 10 June in Madrid for the third transnational partners’ meeting.
During the two-day working session, the consortium reviewed the progress of the activities carried out to date and defined the next steps to achieve the upcoming and final milestones of the project, which will conclude in October with the European Ediltrophy competition in Italy.
The initiative aims to advance training in dry construction systems through an innovative methodology based on gamification and hands-on learning. Through a “learning by doing” approach, the project seeks to enhance the acquisition of technical skills among students and industry professionals, fostering more dynamic, engaging, and practice-oriented training environments that are aligned with the current needs of the construction sector.
Habitable CoVE, an example of European good practice
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and share good practices related to training and professional qualifications in the construction sector. In this context, the Habitable CoVE project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, was highlighted for its contribution to developing new skills to address the challenges arising from the digital and green transitions.
Fundación Laboral de la Construcción highlighted the Habitable Cafe initiative, a space designed to foster the exchange of knowledge, experiences and trends among students, professionals, companies, educational institutions and other stakeholders within the construction ecosystem.
With the European competition that will mark the project’s final milestone on the horizon, the Ediltrophy partners continue working to promote innovative methodologies and training resources that contribute to strengthening training and professional qualifications in the field of dry construction systems.
