Employers’ association and trade unions, public administrations and companies present the challenges of sustainable construction in Spain
FLC brought together the main stakeholders of the sector at the first conference on ‘Training and Employment Initiatives for Sustainable Construction’ to analyse projects coordinated by FLC that are being carried out in this field: BUILD UP Skills ‘Construye 2030’, NaturBuild, BuildOffsiteEU and Cimientos para el Empleo.

The six partners from Argentina, Chile, Spain and Italy, coordinated by FLC, held the second meeting of the project online, in which the terms for the elaboration of a report on the situation of women in the construction sector in these Latin American countries were discussed.

NaturBuild' new course on how to build, maintain and deconstruct a green roof
The ‘NaturBuild’ project, co- funded by the Erasmus+ programme, will launch next August a free 70-hour online course on green roofs, aimed at workers in the construction sector who want to start a professional career in this field.

Through the ‘BuildOffsiteEU’ project, FLC has interviewed Beatriz Gimeno Frontera, Project Manager of the company Metro7, to learn more about this sustainable building system, eco-design and the benefits of Passivhaus.

The National VET Team highlights FLC's best practices in Erasmus+ project
FLC has been recognised for ‘the coordination of relevant projects within the framework of the fight against climate change and the environment’. One of the projects in the sustainable field was ‘Green Growth’, which focuses on promoting the Circular Economy in the sector.
