Fundación Laboral de la Construcción starts 2025 with six new initiatives co-funded by the European Union
Among the initiatives, the second edition of the 'Construction Blueprint' project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, will be launched in January and will develop new strategic and collaborative approaches to provide specific solutions for the development of skills in the short and medium term for the twin (digital and green) transition.

The 'Pact4Youth' project holds event on improving youth employability in Brussels

Around thirty social actors and construction experts gathered at the headquarters of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) to attend the closing event of the Erasmus+ project ‘Pact4Youth’ and learn about the results of the initiative focused on attracting young people to the sector.

5th BUILD UP Skills initiative kicks off in Spain to contribute effectively to EU climate goals

During the first partners' meeting of the “Construye 2030plus” project, co-funded by the LIFE programme. Clean Energy Transition sub-programme, the objective of developing face-to-face training and certification in micro-competences for the green transition of the sector was discussed.

FLC travels to Chile to coordinate the first on-site meeting of the project 'Women Can Build LatAm'

Currently, the partnership is working on the development of a Status Quo report on the situation of the construction industry regarding the inclusion and representation of women in Spain, Italy, Chile and Argentina. This report will be integrated into the ‘Purple Paper of Women in Construction’.

The 'BuildOffsiteEU' project partners advance the development of a Map on “new skills”
During the fourth meeting held in Athens, the launch of the 3rd Newsletter of the project and the drawing up of a Map on ‘new skills’ that should be updated by workers in the sector in order to meet the demands of industrialised construction were discussed.

The ‘Women Can Build’ and ‘Green Growth’ projects are awarded for their singular relevance to VET
The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, through the Secretary General for VET, has published a decision recognising these projects of the Erasmus+ FLC programme as ‘projects of singular interest for Vocational Training’.

FLC presents some of its European projects during International Construction Week
'BuildOffsiteEU', 'Pact4Youth', 'Construye 2030' and 'Women Can Build LatAm' were the main projects in line with the strategy of innovation in training, revitalising the image of construction and proposing new innovative training methodologies.
