A French delegation from CCCA-BTP visits Fundación Laboral de la Construcción to learn about Spain’s training and employment model
Over the course of a week, both organisations exchanged best practices in Vocational Education and Training, skills certification, career guidance, innovation and public-private cooperation, through technical visits in Madrid and Malaga. The visit highlights a long-standing collaboration spanning more than twenty years and underlines a shared commitment to quality, digitalisation and the international dimension of construction training.

The European project ‘Construction Blueprint 2’ holds its second transnational meeting in Athens

The consortium of this BUILD UP Skills initiative met to review progress, including the development of training resources on green micro-skills, an online course on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), and an innovative self-assessment application.

The European project ‘XR Energy’ shortlisted for the 2025 Aragon Building Awards, in Spain
The initiative was nominated in the category of Best Innovation Project and/or Industrialised Construction System, recognising its contribution to skills development through Extended Reality (XR). The project combines technological innovation and hands-on training to support the energy transition and workforce upskilling.

Spanish and Portuguese LIFE Programme delegations visit Fundación Laboral de la Construcción
Representatives from the LIFE Programme National Contact Points learned about the organisation’s experience in European projects. The visit highlighted initiatives such as Construye 2030plus and Fundación Laboral’s leadership in the BUILD UP Skills initiative, reinforcing skills training and certification in construction.
