EPIU Getafe launches free courses on sustainable construction to be given by Fundación Laboral
This Urban Innovative Action initiative, led by Getafe City Council, has just launched, through the joint entity, the first free courses in Sustainable Construction for professionals in the sector, which will begin on May 11th.
With the aim of training professionals to combat energy poverty, the EPIU Getafe Healthy Homes project, led by Getafe City Council through Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, has just launched the first free courses in Sustainable Construction for professionals in the sector, which will begin on May 11th.
These are three free courses, of 60 teaching hours, which will be given in e-learning or mixed mode (online and face-to-face) on:
- Energy efficiency in buildings, 60 hours, in e-learning, from May 12th to June 14th.
- Renewable energy systems, 60 hours, e-learning, from May 11th to June 13th.
- Energy efficiency in air conditioning, 60 hours, in blended mode (e-learning and practical training in workshops), from May 12th to June 14th.
This initiative of the Urban Innovative Actions (UIA) programme is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and, through these training courses, the aim is to train construction professionals to provide them with the necessary skills to renovate homes and buildings efficiently, in order to reduce energy bills and create healthy homes.
