Fundación Laboral of Aragon disseminates the results of the 'XR Energy' project among its trainers and students
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, 'XR Energy', Fundación Laboral de Aragón has shared with its students and teachers the development of the didactic units that have been created to include more visual elements based on mixed reality (XR) in the training
Fundación Laboral de la Construcción of Aragon has held two training sessions today to promote the use of extended reality in the classroom. Students and teaching staff from the basic, intermediate and higher vocational training courses at the Zaragoza centre took part and were able to find out more about the results obtained to date by the Erasmus+ initiative, 'XR Energy'.
The students were able to make use of the 5S methodology applied in Fundación Laboral of Aragon during their participation in the activities organised in the framework of the VET week.
Juan Francisco Lobaco and Lourdes Carreras -trainers at Fundación Laboral- have developed a didactic unit with multimedia elements (360º images, BIM models and virtual itineraries) through 'XR Energy', and have shown how it works to the students of the intermediate level of Construction Technician to facilitate the understanding of the different theoretical concepts and explain how to act in the maintenance of buildings.
Trainers have also received training and guidance on how to use H5P files effectively in order to use these resources and tools in their classes.
"We have had the possibility to receive training in tools for the creation of interactive resources with 360 images, BIM digital models, 3D scans for easy editing in our teaching units" says one of the teachers who participated in the training.
For the creation of the didactic units, the H5P format has been used, which allows the integration of multiple interactive elements in the same document, with which the classes will later be taught, facilitating monitoring and self-evaluation by the students.
