The Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (Sepie) has recognised the high quality of the participation of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción in the European Union's Erasmus+ programme (2014-2020), specifically for the management of scholarships for Vocational Training (VET) students, teachers and training managers, granting it the Erasmus+ Mobility Charter. 

The public body, which works as the National Erasmus+ Agency in the fields of education and training in Spain, highlights the joint entity as a centre of excellence in the management of exchange programmes, during the period 2014-2020.

Together with this international recognition, the Agency has delivered the participation identification plaque that values the good work of Fundación Laboral in the field of  Vocational Training internationalization. In addition to its commitment to the development of innovation projects and the implementation of more sustainable transnational mobilities, improving the interest and the number of students participating. 

Effort and commitment to the promotion of European values

With it, the Sepie wants to emphasize of the equal entity "the effort and dedication for having boosted the feeling of European citizenship, the promotion of the common European values, the inclusive education and, in short, the internationalization of the education".

The calls for the award of the Erasmus+ Mobility Charter are published annually on the websites of the National Agencies of the Member States. This certification gives the entity the opportunity to carry out procedures and applications, in a simpler way, within the framework of the programme "Key Action 1 Erasmus+ Mobility for IVET students and staff".

Stories with Erasmus+ seal

Fundación Laboral de la Construcción  has been organising mobilities since 2004 and, specifically, since 2016 for its official training centres in Cantabria, Aragon and Navarre. Through projects such as Construye tu futuro, the organisation has been able to tell the stories of the international training of its new bricklayers in the 20th century or of how the joint entity has been expanding its "Erasmus+ Generation, Europe Generation". Through initiatives such as EuroCons, the students of the Fundación Laboral have been able to experience what it means to travel, study and work anywhere in Europe, to go from Madrid, Italy or France and become "euro-apprentices".

Through projects such as Dualt.Mob, the Training managers of the joint entity have been able to get to know the Vocational Training systems in alternation and dual from other neighbouring countries.
